Vampires have a cultural fascination for decades. The smooth and charismatic vampire figure that we think of today was created by John Polidori in his 1819 book "The Vampyre. Few people remember this however, Bram Stoker's novel Dracula 1897 is considered the vampire novel par excellence.

Although usually the 'bad vampires picture "modern" so beautiful, charismatic, strong independent and makes the villain who would love to be. And of course there is always the bat. Although not part of the novel by Bram Stoker form of flight (Dracula was simply described as lizard or bird), the vampire bat has been an integral part of the story from the stage production of 1927, and the subsequent films have cemented the connection public eye. Just make sure your tattoo is clearly a bat vampire bat, not a Batman tattoo!

As you can see that there is much choice for people with an affinity for the night. More and more people are choosing to be open about the dark side we all have. There is nothing to be ashamed, after all, so why not celebrate it with a tattoo vampire?
