Tattoo power supply

Tattoo Question: What is an appropriate setting for my power supply?

I have a Digital Lab Supply for my tattoo kit and I need to know the proper setting. I got mixed responses from people I asked. Some say 9 volts. Some say 12 or 13 volts. Does anyone know for a fact that would be a good setup? (If you Will Not answer this question seriously, then do not respond to all)

I'm not sure if I'm correct in this bur I'm sure that the higher the volts as soon as the needle depends on the speed you work with what you do not chew skin. I'm no pro so I can not recommend anything, but ask in a store
