How long can I apply lotion for my tattoo?
hi i just got a tattoo and want to know how long you have to apply a & D avoid swimming pools, etc.
i agree that the artist should have told you that .. my artist says to apply thin layers of bacitracin for about a week at most .. just enough to keep it moist .. and then start using a non-perfume lotion .. you should always lotion your tattoo .. even after cured .. keeps them looking nice .. never use petroleum jelly .. suffocate your tattoo and pull the color out .. avoid swimming pools and even bath for about two or three weeks or so .. do not must fully submerged in water .. just shower and let the water run on it long enough to clean it .. use only unscented anti bacterial soap to clean it also .. and do not rub it .. .. be kind and as far as it will scratch and irritate you .. not choose it or scratch it! but it is clear that in case of doubt Call your .. artist hope this helps and good luck!
