Tattoo drawing
Do tattoo artists put color in when drawing custom graphics?

I want to make a custom Tattoo Design, but want to make sure that the colors are right. Do they color before they do the real thing or do u just tell them what colors u want and hope it turns out ok?

Usually they just pull it one color. The reason they do This is because they use the design as your stencil to put on your skin, and then they tattoo on the stencil. if it is full of color, or even have a pair of too many colors or shading in it, would only make it harder for them during the actual process of tattooing. they allow you to choose the colors you want, and will put a bit of ink in small cups for dipping into, so you will be able to see exactly what color shed in boxes. too, any color you get tattooed when you are going to turn out a little different from how it is in the bottle or cups because your body naturally absorbs some ink during the process of healing and a new layer of skin grows over the tattooed area, making the color look a little different. tattoos always look bright (and it looks the darkest black) when you can do. even with that being said, I think you should be fine, and I hope you like your tattoo.
