Tattoo question, do you think would work?

I know it's hard to understand what I mean without a picture, but I will try my best. About 10 years ago, I got my 1st ink, a clamp. Not horrible but not great either, I like the design I just want to add her. so that the cuff is colored in pink and purple. I want half sleeve, but I really like to do everything in gray. So I was wondering if I colored I have everything in black, then made a bunch of flowers, such as gray and around it, perhaps with some other things tribal belt can look ok. Does the existing clamp look different from any other black stuff I have done? I hope this makes sense

I think a decent artist would be able to tie the two together, I saw one done in Miami Ink and original work was not great when it was completed the band seemed to arm part of the new tattoo, it was sharp and looked very well done, I think you need to have a conversation with the artists and see what comes up with.
