is safe to do a tattoo and / or a piercing at a convention (expo body art)?

I'm going to one next weekend. and will probably get a piercing. will je jammed packed. (In the photos I saw) it is safe to get piercings or tattoos there? I mean it really is not a completely environmetn sterile for a studio since there are so many people around right? and it really has all the equiptmen with them .. as autoclave machines and all /? i will hopefully gettign a piercing but changed my mind abotu geting a small tattoo. id rather get a tattoo and go to them if you ever need a touch up or something. are they safe? its convention body modification, basically, with over 200 tattoo and / piercers probabaly around the country .. I have 9 piercings already

is safe, as everything is sterile. make sure you were gloves and you see the needle out of plastic.
