It was six years later, in 1999 that Govinda seriously considered painting. It was the beginning of a fruitful relationship with the largest publisher Fine Art, Washington Green, whom he approached. Part of Halcyon Group of fine art, which was representing painters and sculptors over 25 years, Washington would only Green Govinda the necessary support to be successful in a field he entered only recently. The observer may have some meaning of his pictures in which they could represent good or evil, as the viewer sees it. Govinda said: "I am, and always will be an eternal optimist." His paintings, in short, are the result of two conflicting feelings of concern about the rise of evil and faith that the world would eventually prove to be a better place.

His popular works include "Cat Walk", "Leopold," "Spider", "Hungry For You", "Benny No Balls", "Le Parisien" Chat "," Scratch & Sniff "and" The Patriot.
