What do you think of this tattoo for a first?

I want a tattoo patriotic and / or a religious cross tattoo for my first tattoo. I I put it on my left shoulder. The meaning behind it is to honor my brother who is in the army and all the veterans who fought for the U.S.. But I found one with a cross for him too.
