Ferret tattoo, good or bad idea?
My ferret is old. Most ferret lives to 7 or 8. Mine is almost 10 years of age. She has had crises recently, back legs were giving out and she is losing her hair. These are all signs that she is not doing well so I'm thinking that this may be my last year with her. I had it for about 8 years now and I'm so attacher for it. I love her so much. I was thinking about getting a tattoo of the face with a halo and its name. Will this a good idea? I already have a white tiger holding a dragonfly on my left ankle. Being overweight is tattoo located very limited. I really want this, but my family is telling me that I should not. Should I get a tattoo? Where should I put? Thank you all. I decided not to do the tattoo. You are me giving great ideas, however, and I will use some of them. I love the idea keychain. I mean, I have 5 pets and I'm connected to them. And I know I'll have pets in the future.
Firstly, I would like to express my condolences for your ferret. I know that caring for a pet older people in frail health, is difficult. Pets are sometimes considered family members, so if you want to decorate it in a tattoo, go ahead! But I want to get a good picture that you want the tattoo to be made from, and then wait several months (at least) once it passes to decide whether it is you really want. As others have mentioned, you can change your mind, so do not rush. The placement, I would like to go somewhere discreet, if you are worried about others judging you. As for being overweight, and about somewhere that does not change much, as the blade? It is easily hidden as well. From personal experience, I have a tattoo of a photo of my cats. I love it, and I always get positive responses. But I feel that my pets are part of my family, not just an animal.
