Chinese dragon tattoo

Does anyone know the symbolism of a Chinese dragon on the side of a phoenix?

I am wondering how I got a tattoo Phoenix and would like to get a dragon too. The tattoo is on my left leg and I would like to receive the Dragon in the otherside. Of course, this leaves the back of my leg with nothing. I was thinking Koi in a return there, but can not fit well with the other two pieces.

The dragon represents the emperor, the Phoenix eternal life. This is supposed to give immortality emperor.
